Customer Magnet Masterclass - 8th October

Ormeau Business Park and EMEEN are inviting local entrepreneurs and business owners to a free “Customer Magnet Masterclass” on Wednesday, 8th October (10:30-12:00), at Ormeau Business Park in Belfast. The session promises to help attendees “attract their next thousand customers, no magic, just marketing” and features seasoned workshop lead Steve Lazars alongside guest speaker Ruchira R Rangaprasad, a rising star in sustainable marketing and entrepreneurship.

Speakers

Ruchira R Rangaprasad

Ruchira is a dynamic, purpose-driven marketer making impressive strides in both entrepreneurship and academia. She recently graduated with an MSc in Marketing from Queen’s University Belfast. As Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Balantra, she’s developing innovative gut-health products: liquid-soluble fibre sachets designed to tackle the issue of fibre deficiency among 90% of UK adults.

A prolific award-winner, Ruchira has raised thousands in startup funding, thanks in part to university-backed programs like Queen’s “QUest,” “Make it Happen Fund,” and the “Inspire Impact Challenge”. She’s also recognized as a “22 under 22” entrepreneur and a “30 under 30 Climate Change Maker” by Belfast City Council, and actively serves as Marketing Lead for the Ethnic Minority Employment & Entrepreneurship Network (EMEEN).

Steve Lazars

Steve is the Founder & Director of EMEEN, the Ethnic Minority Employment, Entrepreneurship & Business Support Network, Northern Ireland’s largest network dedicated to enhancing economic participation among ethnic minorities.

With interdisciplinary experience spanning civil, corporate, community, charity, and sports sectors across nine countries, Steve brings vast expertise in employment, inclusive entrepreneurship, and workforce development. He also founded the NI Ethnic Minority Employment & Careers Conference and regularly leads impactful workshops to help entrepreneurs and businesses.
